Fiji
Bula! In December I headed off to sip cocktails and soak up the sun in beautiful Fiji. One of my favourite things about Fiji is the people. I don’t think I have been anywhere in the world that compares to the Fijian hospitality.
A destination of relaxation
We spent a few nights at Outrigger on the Lagoon, which is where my husband and I got married back in 2009. It is one of my favourites mainland resorts and never fails to disappoint. The bures are spacious and have a real authentic Fijian feel, and the champagne and canapes delivered to your room every evening is fantastic! Since our last visit they have added a beautiful adults only pool with swim up bar. Nothing better than cocktails in the pool!

We followed Outrigger with a short stay at Castaway Island, a must visit place for anyone with kids. They really know how to make sure it is a holiday for the whole family! Fantastic snorkelling, amazing kids club (until 10pm), frog races, kayakking, sailing, stand up paddle boards, banana boat rides, parasailing and many more activities! Plus the food was SENSATIONAL!
